IAFF Local 360

Mishawaka, IN

On October 9, 1933 firefighters from the Mishawaka Fire Department organized and became members of the International Association of Firefighters.  The new local would be Local 360.  Surrounding departments also joined the IAFF in this time frame.  Including Elkhart Fire Local 338, Gary Fire Local 359, LaPorte Fire Local 363 and South Bend Fire Local 362.

Today Mishawaka Local 360 represents over 100 firefighters.  Local 360 is committed to safety and welfare of all its members.  This is done through contract and wage negotiations, health and safety committees and many programs to ensure our members have healthy careers and retirements.

 

IAFF Local 360 is also very active in the community.  Our members participate in multiple fundraising events.  We are active in many efforts including MDA, Breast Cancer Awareness and locally the Honor Flight program.
